• touch sensor — even the slightest unintended contact with an obstacle is enough to stop the mechanism immediately, before any pressure is applied;
• load sensor — if a person or object is detected within the bed's operating area, the system detects the change in load and blocks the movement, preventing accidental closing.

The electric mechanism and construction have been tested by an independent laboratory (TÜV certification) in accordance with stringent standards for electrically powered furniture. CE marking confirms compliance with the requirements of European Union directives.
